Sealing comes before insulation
We close the gaps around lights, pipes and the attic hatch before any new insulation goes in, so it isn't fighting a draft and the money you spend does its job.
Comfort Bartlett Insulation Company looks your house over first, then seals and insulates attics, walls and crawl spaces for homeowners, landlords and property managers in Bartlett and across the Memphis area.

Before I started this business, I spent years doing upkeep for a property management company, and that work put me in more attics and crawl spaces around Bartlett than I can count. Again and again I found insulation laid over a roof leak, a damp spot or old wiring, where it did nothing but hide the problem. In 2017 I started Comfort Bartlett Insulation Company to do that work in the right order, looking a house over before we add anything to it.
Homeowners call us, and so do landlords and property managers who want plain answers and tidy work. Before any job starts, I check with the city or county office about what it calls for. In Bartlett, that's the city's Code Enforcement office, which issues permits for projects inside city limits. When a job turns up wiring, gas or heating and cooling work, I bring in a licensed contractor in that trade for that part, because only they can pull those permits, and you still deal with one person.

Foam costs more than loose fill, and unless your ductwork runs through the attic, sealing the gaps and topping up usually does the job, so that's what I'll tell you.
We treat you with courtesy on the phone and in your house, and years of keeping rental homes in good repair taught us to leave every attic and room clean.
Here's what happens from your first call or message through to the finished work in your house.

I come out myself to check how many inches are already up there, the eave vents and any damp spots, then write a free estimate on site with no obligation.
When the work starts, I lead the crew that does it, so the sealing and insulation we put in match what we talked over at your estimate.
